I always listen to podcasts while I paint - it's kind of like Tivo for NPR. Here's a new one I just started listening to: PRI's Selected Shorts podcast. It's an hour of short stories, read by famous actors.

    I love the variation in the glass and the surface they are on - I listen to Ira Glass, This American Life while I paint and sometimes Radio Lab, I'll check out the shorts too!

    First of all, I like Selected Shorts, myself. Second of all, you should check out The Moth podcast, it's like SS, but hipper. Third of all LOVE THIS PAINTING.
