I painted this one before the previously posted painting, but only just put the finishing touches on today. As you can see, it's fairly tight - mostly as a result of the smooth painting surface - and after I finished work on it, I was attempting to unwind with a looser version.
I love the contrast in this one, the darkness of the books, vase and table top, and then the bright yellow flowers. The violet gray background is perfect too.
