Lots of care was taken here on the shifting shades of the walls. It's really a lot like flesh tones.

Beautiful, I love the interesting angles of the chair, table, walls, shadows, and book. And the soft colors and subtle shade changes... in other words-everything! I bet it's even prettier in person.
That is a lovely painting--it appears to have been painted with great care yet maintains a painterly quality. It is fun to see the same flowers in one of your Daily Paintworks paintings.
