Below is a work-in-progress shot of this one. You can see that I try to sketch in my lightest areas first, to keep them clean, but I do need to establish my darkest darks early on, too, to keep everything in perspective.

Beautifully done- love seeing your sketch in and what your darkest dark was- rather the value of that. Really love the bit of light shining back through on the back wall.
