Lily Bouquet with Scissors

11 x 14"
oil on canvas
Sold
Halfway through painting this, I heard my cat freaking out in the hallway. I went to investigate and found him playing with a snake! Granted, it was no Boa Constrictor, but still - it was on the second floor of my house! Right now it's trapped underneath a garbage can waiting for Jesse to get home and deal with it. Snake disposal is NOT in my job description...

Oh, I remember how I used to love snakes. I had a pet snake once back way ago...

I love your paintings! I was searching for some art blogs to fill my idle days with, the the flowers immediately caught my eye. Great work! :)

I think I'll find myself popping in and out every now and then... keep up the good work!

Over and out,
Jess

Just another fan of Sedwickpaints...a very slithery one.

Live snakes, ground squirrels, lizard tails, birds, mice: all in a cat's fun packed day. On another note, another beautiful painting. I love the juxtaposition of the scissors.
