First of the Lilies

6 x 6"
oil on panel (built in hanging slot)
Sold

This is the first Lily to open in the whole yard. I've been watching a large pink one by the front steps starting to color up, but then I noticed this little one just outside my window this morning, fully open.

I really like the orange/green combination in this painting, by the way.

Beautiful! You paint colored glass so well, and this composition and color contrast is so lively and unexpected.

Hi Sarah,
I've enjoyed seeing your flower paintings on daily art painters. What a vibrant lily! I like the color combination with the green glass.

Lovely painting, I really like the point of view of the painting and how you captured the delicate petals of the lily.

Your color is so strong in this and I love the way you handled the bottle! Very nice!
