"Lemons and Limes" fruit bowl still life oil painting original

 6 x 6"
oil on canvas

It's been a great weekend so far. The run yesterday was out of this world! As in, my brain went to another universe when I came down out of the woods and was told by a course marshall in an oh-so-cheery voice that I was at mile 9.2! With three miles left to go, I've never wished for a race to be over so much, but hey, I finished it, made my goal time, and hope one day soon to be walking pain-free. Here is a self-portrait from the finish line:

This is a pure pleasure to look at. Everything is perfect.Drawing, colors, lighting and design...and you run too! Some people can do it all. Good for you.

I am a 10 year old long distance runner who's mother recently discovered your blog. ( and she's always on it by the way)

Just wondering...what was your goal time and what was your finishing time?

Hi, Ethan- Thanks for the comment, and that's awesome that you are already a distance runner at 10! I get passed by kids your age in races all the time and I love it. My goal time for this race was sub 2:00, and my time was about 1:58:30, so I just made it! It was really hilly and hard. Say hi to your mom for me! - Sarah
